Among loyal flyers USAirways has a good, solid reputation. While others may malign the carrier, we status flyers know we are treated well and like the route schedules they keep. American Airlines is a flaming bomb falling from the sky with union troubles and maintenance issues and they are not too big to fail. USAirways should let them fail. Pick up some of their gates for a song and grow their international routes organically. There is a time to walk away and that time is now.
